Free Energy Car 1000 MILE COMMUTE

Wow! It's been three months since my last entry and this will be my last '1,000 mile commute' entry on the 'free energy car' web site. Fact is {and I guess always was} that the '1000 mile commute' was just a bad idea. Nobody could wrap their mind around going 40 miles at a time for 1000 miles totally for free. I'd be going really slow for the highway and kind of a nuisance and create possibly dangerous situations. It really was'nt something the general public would be able to do or easily replicate anyway. In short nobody seemed to care. Along with personal problems and responsibilities I just had to let it go. Besides I could see a greater opportunity just around the corner if I would just keep on pushing, and of coarse I did! Instead of Erin to Amarillo in two weeks for free, how about Erin to Amarillo in TWO DAYS,...and on approximately THREE GALLONS OF GAS! That's over 300 miles per gallon but with the new 'Tri-Hybrid" I believe we're ready to do it! My plan is to run down to I-40 from our plant in Erin and then run down I-40 to our plant in Amarillo,a distance of approximately 1000 miles. Hey, It's not to much to ask to eat your mom's turkey and dressing for Thanksgiving, right?! My tentative date is set for November 19 and 20, that's the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I have already received my Tennessee plates for the Tri-Hybrid and the 'go faster' parts are on the way. I've also talked with the folks at the Discovery Channel and they'll send a crew to go along as well. All is good! Be sure to sign in to the 'ask a question' page for updates to be sent to you on this and any other media events for ExerCar or Tri-Hybrid Car. Thanks so much for following along, Jay Perdue.

Trip Details

Bottom line is Jay, like everybody else, is a busy guy. For long commutes, like 80 miles a day, the vehicle is designed to be charged during the day by the sun while you’re at work or school and driven home in the evening, charged at home over night and driven back to work or school in the morning. This perfectly fits the way we live and commute. It is of course possible to go 40 miles a day free or 40 miles everyday on a home charge. Jay will use the combination long commute pattern to achieve the 1,000 miles in just 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening for a total of 26 hours in 13 days. It better serves the demonstration and proves the vehicle’s total capability. Although it is not necessary to pedal the human/electric powered vehicle at all, Jay will pedal much of the time even though he is neither a bicyclist nor an athlete, maximizing both the vehicle’s abilities and its exercise benefits. Again Free Energy Car can be both free and without any human effort other than driving abilities, but it is the inventor’s desire to maximize and prove its full potential of transportation benefit, health benefit, financial benefit, and environmental benefit to the world.

Since this is not a local commute but rather a 1,000 mile cross-country trek, Free Energy Car will be followed by a chase vehicle with special and emergency lighting. We will stay as far right as possible and apologize in advance for any inconvenience we may cause. All news leading up to and during the cross-country trek of Free Energy Car will be posted on this web site.
